The world is a canvas,

Painting a picture of life Full of beauty and grace, Or a portrait of strife. The colors are diverse, As if every hue and shade Had been mixed and blended To create a rainbow parade. The strokes of the brush, Are the joys, sorrows and dreams That make up our lives, And our stories it seems. The portrait is incomplete, But we keep on painting Until the last stroke of the brush When our lives are waning.
